Ragi is a rich source of Calcium, Iron, Protein, Fiber and other minerals.
The cereal has low fat content and contains mainly unsaturated fat.
It is easy to digest and does not contain gluten; people who are sensitive to gluten can easily consume
Health Benefits of Ragi

For Strong Bones:-
1 glass Ragi malt or porridge is equal to 4 glasses of milk
It works as a rich calcium and vitamin-D supplier.
For growing children and ageing people it also reduces risks of fractures.
Especially for people who are suffering from osteoporosis or thinning bone.

For Weight Loss:-
Ragi is a good choice for the people who are trying to lose weight.
Because it contains low fat and amino acid called tryptophan which reduces appetite, lecithin and methionine amino acids which help to bring down cholesterol by eliminating excess of fat from liver.
High fiber helps to manage cholesterol.

For Diabetics:-
Protein in ragi, is said to be as milk protein which makes an ideal substitute for diabetes.
Finger Millet's phytochemicals help in slowing digestion process.
